Nobel Prize in Physics rewards research into black holes

Like the Nobel Prize for Medicine, the Nobel Prize for Physics also goes to a trio. The UK's Roger Penrose, Germany's Reinhard Genzel and the USA's Andrea Ghez were rewarded for their work on black holes, celestial objects that intrigue a good many physicists.
