Nobel Prize for Economics goes to research on prosperity in "institutionalized" economies

The Nobel Prize in Economics, which closes the 2024 season, has rewarded the American-Turkish Daron Acemoglu and the British-Americans Simon Johnson and James A. Robinson for their research into understanding the differences in prosperity between nations.
