My best amoeba

Protozoa play an important role in the ecosystem, and among them is the amoeba, more specifically the Hylosphenia papillo. Researchers at the University of Neuchâtel have found that this amoeba could be an excellent indicator of the changes taking place in peatlands under the influence of global warming.
