Jumping DNA partly regulates our brains

DNA sequences play an important role in controlling brain development. This is the result of research carried out at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in collaboration with the Technical University of Dresden and the University of Bonn. This discovery could one day lead to treatments for neurodegenerative diseases.
