Meeting with Jean-Pierre Sauvage

On October 5, 2016, French scientist Jean-Pierre Sauvage was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. This distinction, shared with Briton Fraser Stoddart and Dutchman Bernard Feringa, crowns his assemblies of molecules. These chemists are like sculptors of matter. They are capable of creating tiny machines two thousand times smaller than the thickness of a hair!
