The Vaud University Hospital is about to revolutionize the treatment of lymphedema thanks to a world first: the testing of an implantable artificial lymphatic vessel. This unpleasant and often painful swelling of an arm or leg could soon find a more efficient solution, offering hope to the more than 16 million people worldwide who suffer from it.
