Le Haut wins the battle and La Chaux-de-Fonds keeps its hospital

The mobilization in the Neuchâtel mountains swung the results. The "for two hospitals" initiative was narrowly accepted, allowing La Chaux-de-Fonds to retain an acute-care hospital.
