Forced sterilizations in Greenland

This March, over a hundred women decided to sue the Danish state for its involvement in forced contraception campaigns in Greenland. These Greenlandic women accuse Denmark of having carried out a large-scale "concerted sterilization" enterprise in order to reduce the birth rate in a predominantly Inuit territory that was at the time considered a region of the Scandinavian kingdom.
