An execution goes wrong in the United States

It took two hours before Joseph Wood succumbed to a lethal injection that would normally have killed him within minutes. This is the second time this year that an execution has gone wrong. For their part, pharmaceutical companies are still refusing to supply the products used, notably for legal reasons.
