The ETHZ has developed a gel to cancel out the effects of alcohol

A research team at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich has developed a gel that suppresses the effects of alcohol by preventing it from passing into the bloodstream. It has been tested on mice who drank alcohol without harm. Clinical tests are still needed before the product can be licensed for human use.
