Discovery of the first ancestors of spiders and scorpions

Scientists at the University of Lausanne (UNIL) have discovered a fossil, named Setapedites abundantis, which possesses unique features such as pincer-like legs, or chelicerae, allowing it to be classified among the earliest chelicerates.
