Digital technology to help destroyed heritage

In August 2015, the Islamic State reduced the Baalshamîn sanctuary on the site of Palmyra, Syria, to rubble. Today, at the University of Lausanne, a team is working to digitally reconstruct the building on the basis of archives bequeathed by Professor Paul Collart.
