Assyriological heritage at risk

More than 350 researchers gather for the annual Rencontre Assyriologique Internationale organized by the International Association for Assyriology. It comes as the archaeological heritage of Palmyra in Syria has begun to be destroyed these days by the terrorist group Islamic State, which has seized the city.
