Deep sleep lasts 25 seconds!

Research on sleep has shown that this recovery period takes place in different phases that follow one another: slow wave sleep, REM sleep, etc. A Swiss study goes into much more detail. It reveals that sleep is sequenced in 50-second chunks: 25 "fragile" seconds and 25 "deep" seconds.
