Conference highlights close links between religion and economic liberalism

A symposium entitled "Fait religieux, fait économique" held on Tuesday at the Graduate Institute in Geneva analyzed, in particular, the positioning of religions in the face of the rise of neoliberalism since the 1980s. It revealed a certain fluidity between religious conservatism and economic liberalism.
