Aymon de Montfalcon, lʹévêque returns to the castle

After three years of restoration, the Château Saint-Maire, Lausanne's seat of power, will once again open its doors to the public on a special day on April 14, 2018. Visitors will discover the princely residence of the last lord-bishop of Lausanne, Aymon de Montfaclon (1443-1517), who took up his post here in 1491 thanks to the House of Savoy, of which he was the ambassador on several occasions.
