The archaeological site of Delphi

According to Greek mythology, Delphi was the center of the world, symbolically represented by a stone. It was also here that Greeks from every city came on pilgrimage to seek advice from the Pythia, a priestess who would enter a trance and deliver oracles purporting to be the answers of the god Apollo.
