American-style Crans-Montana

American group Vail Resorts has announced that it has bought the Crans-Montana (VS) ski area, previously owned by Czech billionaire Radovan Vitek. It expects the transaction "to be finalized this winter". The takeover by the world's number one skier satisfies both the canton and the local authorities.
