AI-powered system maps 3D corals in record time

Mapping coral reefs in 3D in just a few minutes, thatʹs what an artificial intelligence (AI) called DeepReefMap developed by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne is capable of. This little revolution, cheaper and faster than the methods used until now, "maps" corals and reveals their state of health.
