20 years of the International Space Station: experiments

The project had first taken shape at Nasa, in 1983, before the Russians joined the Americans, followed by the Europeans, Canadians and Japanese. It wasn't until 1998 that the first International Space Station module was launched, and this very first international orbital station became operational on November 2, 2000.
