The Vizir project, augmented reality for firefighters

Augmented reality is at the service of firefighters with the Vizir system, developed by two EPFL engineers, in which the thermal camera is integrated into the helmet and the information projected onto glasses. This project should enable firefighters to move forward in very dense smoke with both hands free, as opposed to hand-held cameras.
