In Vaud, medical confidentiality can be lifted in prison

The fundamental principles of the draft Vaud cantonal law on medical confidentiality in prisons have been adopted by the Grand Council. If confirmed on second reading, the state of necessity will henceforth oblige healthcare professionals to inform prison management of important facts.
