The Turkmen methane climate catastrophe

Thanks to a study commissioned by "The Guardian", we learn that Turkmenistan released nearly 4.4 million tonnes of methane into the lʹatmosphere in 2022. This country was already known for leaks from its methane operations, but the scale of these had been vastly underestimated.
