Trisomy 21, a chromosome at the origin of genome alteration

Geneticists at the University of Geneva are trying to unravel the mystery of Trisomy 21. In a study published in the journal Nature, they show that the presence of a 3rd chromosome 21 upsets the entire balance of the genome.
