Towards the end of writing?

Pen usage is under threat from keyboards and numeric keypads, even at school. The United States has adopted an education program which, from 2015, will make the teaching of traditional cursive writing optional in favor of scripte writing, judged to be more legible, and more in tune with keyboard writing.
