Tool cuts antibiotic prescriptions in children by a factor of four

The use of clinical decision support algorithms improves the quality of care provided to sick children. This is the result of DYNAMIC, a pilot study conducted in Tanzania and Rwanda by Unisanté and Swiss TPH. These algorithms could prevent millions of unnecessary antibiotic prescriptions every year in Africa and potentially in Europe.
