Technology is stealing our time

In our hyperconnected society, we sometimes get the impression that technology is suffocating us and creating an addiction against which it is difficult to fight. And if it gives us the sensation of saving time, isnʹt it on the contrary designed to steal our attention? To whose benefit and for what?
