Swiss insects are in bad shape

The first detailed report on the state of insect populations in Switzerland has just been published by the Biodiversity Forum of the Swiss Academy of Sciences. The diversity and size of insect populations have declined sharply, above all on the Plateau, but more recently also in the Jura and the Alps.
