The Swiss birth rate has fallen to its lowest level in 20 years

According to the latest data from the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the Swiss fertility rate has fallen to its lowest level in 20 years: 1.39 children per woman. Financial or family policy reasons could be behind this decline.
