The pandemic has turned Swiss demographics upside down

Switzerland's population grew by 0.7% in 2020 compared with 2019, according to provisional figures from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). The coronavirus pandemic has had a strong impact on this development, causing a decline in life expectancy.
