Sleep is essential for mental well-being

Some people miss it. Others enjoy it without necessarily finding it restorative. A barometer of our general state, sleep is a fundamental component of our mental health. It is estimated that around 40% of the population suffers from a sleep problem, whether it be occasional or chronic insomnia. Sometimes, the causes of disturbed sleep can reveal other health problems. The only certainty is that there are very clear links between sleep and our physical, cognitive and psychological health.
