Raw spices, saffron and parsley

Saffron: this spice is derived from the crocus sativus plant. Crocus is an Iridaceae and colchicums are Liliaceae. The biggest current supplier is Iran, followed by Spain and Morocco. Parsley: this does not pose any problems. It was once used to induce abortion by being consumed as juice or by eating its seeds
