Prix Leenaards 2024: a robot to better diagnose Lewy body disease

Levy body disease is a neurodegenerative dementia, like Alzheimerʹs disease. Although little known to the public, it affects almost 20% of patients with dementia, which would correspond to around 40,000 people in Switzerland. Lʹone of the Prix Leenaards 2024 awards went to a research project that uses robotics to better diagnose this disease.
