Organ donation: a gift like any other?

Over the last few decades, transplant medicine has evolved at a dizzying pace. Technically, more and more organs can be transplanted, with the risks of rejection becoming better and better controlled. This raises psychological and ethical questions: How can we assess the degree of consent of donors? What criteria should be used to determine the death of a potential donor?
