Ordinary racism?

The appointment of an African to head Switzerland's second-largest bank - Tidjane Thiam - proves that today people of color can rise to high positions, as Barack Obama had already demonstrated. Which is not to say that racism and racial tensions have disappeared today, as we are reminded - among other things - by the ordinary racism of some American police officers.
