Observing the sky with thousands of antennas

Astronomers are thinking bigger and bigger. They are planning to build a 1km2 radio telescope straddling Africa and Australia. Thanks to this new instrument, researchers hope to gain access to moments in the history of the Universe that are inaccessible to current facilities.
