The number of births in Geneva is the lowest in 15 years

With fewer than 5,000 newborns in Geneva in 2023, births are at a 15-year low. For all that, Mathias Lerch, director of the Urban Demography Laboratory at EPFL, refuses to talk of a "fertility crisis".
