News on the malaria parasite

Two teams from the University of Geneva have just discovered what may be the key that enables the malaria vector plasmodium to infect a mosquito. These chain contaminations are made possible by the fact that the plasmodium regularly modifies its cytoskeleton to adapt to the place it wants to enter.
