Asian mosquito Anopheles Stephensi threatens African cities

All the way from Asia, lʹAnophèles stephensi is an invasive malaria-vector mosquito that has settled and adapted to African urban centers. While malaria is usually associated with a disease that affects the countryside, the ability of lʹAnophèles stephensi to adapt to urban areas could cause an out-of-control situation in Africaʹs densely populated cities.
