A new type of dengue vaccine

The University Center for General Medicine and Public Health in Lausanne is testing a new type of vaccine to combat dengue fever. This is good news, as this viral infection affects 390 million human beings every year. It causes 20,000 reported deaths, mostly among children, and there is no treatment to date.
