National Council questions nuclear phase-out strategy

Nuclear power plants now have a long life ahead of them. The National Council has decided that their operating life should not be limited. It will now be up to the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) to decide whether or not a nuclear power plant can remain connected to the grid.
