A method for rapidly measuring cell autophagy

A research team at the University of Freiburg has developed a technique that enables autophagy activity to be measured more quickly and accurately. This cellular process is, in a way, the body's cell-cleaning team: it evacuates their waste products and eliminates defective parts.
