Mentalization: seeing ourselves from the outside and others from the inside

On the flip side, Sophie is a dynamic, successful woman, a bank executive and a mother. On the flip side, her life is punctuated by depressive episodes and, more recently, risky behaviors ranging from bulimia to suicidal ideation.
