Kill the accent or accentuate it?

What's left of the accents and expressions specific to our regions? Are they giving way to a neutral language with no real specificity? A language with its share of ephemeral expressions and fashionable crutches halfway between TV talk and the diction of certain Youtubers. And if we keep it, if we maintain that accent weʹve always had? Hard to swallow?
