The "local language" still very much a part of our vocabulary

Do you say "pick up the crumbs with the broom or the cheni shovel", "Put on your swimsuit or your calosse"? The local vernacular, expressions and sounds specific to a region, a canton and which still retain a certain hold on our vocabulary today.
