It's not easy to stand on your own two feet in Switzerland!
Légende
The figures published in December by lʹOFS are clear: young Swiss people are leaving the family nest later and later. Whereas in the 1970s, people were leaving mom and dad at around 20-21 years of age, the age at which they leave home has risen to 24-25 today for more than half of young people. Itʹs that extended training courses add to the prohibitive price of housing and the comfort offered by the parents of the baby-boomer generation.
