In Switzerland, women over 55 are more likely than men to live alone. As they grow older, with the departure of their children or even their spouse, the question of housing sometimes arises. Some women find themselves forced to move home for lack of funds. Others would like to find something smaller, but the difficulties of the real estate market prevent them from doing so.
