Israel: towards religious radicalization?

The Israeli government has adopted a fundamental law that defines the State of Israel no longer as a "Jewish and democratic state", but as "the national state of the Jewish people". The symbolic signal is strong: democracy takes a back seat. What would be the place of non-Jewish Israeli citizens in such a state?
