Impact of invasive species on biodiversity

LʹUniversité de Lausanne has carried out several studies on invasive insect species, such as tiger mosquitoes and fire ants, which are gradually invading our continent. These species represent a growing threat to global biodiversity and ecosystems. Although the majority are not harmful, around 10% dʹentre cause significant damage, particularly in agriculture.
