Immunotherapies: finding a cancer vaccine

We now have a better understanding of why a cell goes mad, how it manages to make itself invisible to the immune system, and how it colonizes the body to metastasize. New treatments now complement surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. These treatments, which call on the immune system, are now arriving in Swiss hospitals.
